How the GoMacro Team Gives Back

At GoMacro®, we believe in building stronger, healthier communities through giving back. In addition to our Give Back Bars®, GoMacro grants every employee two service-focused paid days per year to facilitate this mission.


The GoMacro Give Back Committee has compiled a short list of Give Back Day opportunities, but employees are not limited to these suggestions. Employees are encouraged to seek out fun, helpful, and meaningful Give Back Day opportunities through alternative organizations or associations! Here are some of the ways the GoMacro Team gives back:

The HQ Team

Habitat for Humanity

GoMacro has partnered with Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region for the last two years as a corporate sponsor. Part of GoMacro's sponsorship is participation in an annual team build.


This past year, 44 GoMacro Team members spent three days repairing and renovating a local family home. This included sanding, mudding, and hanging sheetrock, fixing foundational cracks, walkway building, and yard work.


GoMacro is proud to support an organization that shares our commitment to improving and empowering the local community.

Tori Gardner, Senior Manager of eCommerce Sales & Marketing

The Somero Project

The Somero Project is a non-profit that built and maintains Evergreen Primary School for 300+ students in the village of Kotolo, Uganda. Tori has sponsored with Somero for 8 years and counting, supporting the education of four young students.

In 2015, Tori was able to travel to Uganda to visit Evergreen Primary. While there, she connected with students, painted the school, provided medical treatment and malaria testing, built a wheelchair ramp, distributed mosquito nets, and played endless games of soccer. Tori plans to make another visit very soon.

The Marketing Team

Feeding San Diego

The Marketing Team works closely with GoMacro Give Back Partner Feeding San Diego, a hunger relief and food rescue organization.


Last year, the team spent one of their annual Give Back Days volunteering at Feeding San Diego's facility. They prepped boxes of food and sorted and bagged hundreds of pounds of pantry and fridge staples to feed families in need.


The Marketing Team always looks forward to Give Back Days and lending a helping hand to the community.
