Vegan Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

The simple swap of a plant-based milk and gluten-free oats gives you all the creaminess and taste of traditional oatmeal with @purelykaylie's healthier take on breakfast. This Vegan Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl requires a Oatmeal Chocolate Chip MacroBar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1 - 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 cup water
  • fruit, for topping
  • 1/2 Oatmeal Chocolate Chip MacroBar, chopped, for topping

Directions

  1. Combine oats, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, salt, milk, and water in a small pot.
  2. Transfer the pot to a stovetop. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently to make sure the oatmeal does not stick to the bottom of the pot. Cook until thick and creamy, about 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer oatmeal to bowls. Add toppings. Enjoy!
