Dairy-Free Whipped Cream

This delicious and simple dairy-free whipped cream is the perfect addition to all of your vegan desserts.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) full-fat coconut cream, chilled overnight
  • ¼ - ½ cup powdered sugar, to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place full-fat coconut cream in the fridge to chill for at least 12 hours, preferably overnight. Once thoroughly chilled, the contents of the can should separate into two layers.
  2. Scoop the solid top layer of cream into a mixing bowl, reserving the liquid for another use.
  3. Using a hand mixer, whip the cream on high for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add desired amount of powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks have formed.
  4. Dollop atop your favorite dessert, layer onto a smoothie, or enjoy straight from the bowl!
