Our Partnership with
Feeding San Diego
We believe in building stronger, healthier communities through giving back. Feeding San Diego creates a comprehensive approach to hunger-relief through four initiatives – Feeding Kids, Feeding Families, Feeding Seniors, and Feeding Heroes. Individual programs within these initiatives support the immediate and long-term needs of the community.

A portion of net proceeds from year-round sales of our Everlasting Joy MacroBar® is donated to Feeding San Diego.
Feeding San Diego is a branch of the national organization, Feeding America, working to feed America's hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks. Their projects include:
-
Feeding Kids
Provides meals to improve childhood wellness through partnerships with local K-12 schools (School Pantry) and community sites. -
Feeding Families
Provides meals to families across the county through community partnerships and direct-to-client distributions, including families in rural areas and college partner sites. -
Feeding Heroes
Provides meals to military families through School Pantries, military-focused partner agencies, and special direct distributions. -
Feeding Seniors
Provides seniors with healthy food through partnerships with senior housing facilities, community centers, and nonprofit partners. -
Food Rescue
Feeding San Diego rescues surplus food from hundreds of local and national food donors before it goes to waste and gets it to people facing hunger in San Diego County. With far reaching partnerships across grocery and manufacturing supply chains, the organization enables high-quality food to be redirected instead of going to waste.
With each purchase of an Everlasting Joy MacroBar, you help feed people in need in the San Diego area.
Making Positive Change
Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego rescues surplus food from local and national food donors before it goes to the landfill and gets it to people in need of nutritious meals. Last year, the hunger relief organization provided more than 29 million meals throughout San Diego County.

Support people experiencing food insecurity, including children, families, seniors, college students, military families, and veterans, with dignity.
Improve the health of the community by providing fresh produce at all food distributions.
Partner with nonprofits serving the military community to provide food on military bases.

About Feeding San Diego
Feeding San Diego is a nonprofit organization on a mission to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue. Last year, Feeding San Diego provided more than 29 million meals to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, and veterans in partnership with a network of more than 300 local charities, schools, colleges, faith communities, healthcare providers, and meal sites.
It operates a multitude of hunger relief and food programs countywide that support people facing hunger with food assistance or resources. Their program allows high-quality food to be redirected instead of going to waste. In fact, 92% percent of the food distributed by Feeding San Diego last year was rescued. By diverting more than 31 million pounds of food from the landfill each year, Feeding San Diego protects people and the planet.
In addition to rescuing and distributing high-quality food, Feeding San Diego ensures people can enroll in various food assistance programs, such as CalFresh which is designed to help low-income individuals purchase healthy food.
