GoMacro Partners with Solutions For Change to Kick Off “#GivingTuesdayNow” Campaign

Early this month, GoMacro partnered with non-profit, Solutions for Change, to help kick off the organization’s “#GivingTuesdayNow” campaign with a donation towards their mission to end the cycle of homelessness. #GivingTuesdayNow, a global day of unity and giving organized by GivingTuesday, was created as an emergency response to the unprecedented need for kindness, donations of goods, time and money, advocacy, and care caused by COVID-19.

GoMacro partners with Solutions for Change year-round via our Everlasting Joy Give Back Bar. We’re grateful for this opportunity to help Solutions for Change make a lasting impact on the lives of families and generations to come, especially in the midst of such challenging circumstances.

Solutions for Change works to end family homelessness using a unique program targeting the root causes. Of the 600,000 people in the United States that are homeless, over 40% are families. These families face unique needs that aren’t always served adequately by existing programs. Many attempted solutions to family homelessness, such as shelters and subsidized housing, fail to solve the root causes, which can perpetuate generational poverty.

Solutions for Change creates access to opportunities and equips families with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to permanently end the cycle of homelessness. The program is built on three pillars - educational programs, social enterprise programs that empower residents to learn and earn, and residents’ investment of time and effort to help their communities.
